The RLC is home to the Run Baby Run Arena. <\/span>The RLC houses three gymnasia, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and diving facility, a state of the art fitness center, a free weight room, racquetball and squash courts, multi-purpose rooms for such activities as dance, yoga and martial arts and five indoor tennis courts and a jogging track underneath the air-supported Bubble.<\/p>\n The tennis courts can be taken down to convert the space inside the Bubble into a multi-purpose indoor field for athletic practices and intramural games. The gymnasia are converted into an arena for activities such as varsity basketball games and special events such as the University\u2019s Baccalaureate Mass.<\/p>\n The offices for the Department of Recreation and Intramural Sports, as well as the University\u2019s Department of Athletics, are housed in the RLC. The $6 million complex opened in 1975 and the white, air-supported roof is recognized from miles around.<\/p>\n All full-time undergraduate day session Saint Peter\u2019s students are automatic members of the Recreational Life Center and only need to show their campus ID for admittance. All other students have the option of joining<\/a> for a nominal fee.<\/p>\n Saint Peter\u2019s alumni are also eligible to join<\/a> for $350 per year, while a maximum of 100 members of the community are offered membership for a $750 fee.
