Mir will also receive an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">honoris causa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe are looking forward to welcoming Muhammad Mir back to Saint Peter\u2019s University as this year\u2019s Michaelmas Convocation keynote speaker. As an accomplished alumnus and leader in the pharmaceutical industry, Muhammad exemplifies the transformative power of a Saint Peter\u2019s education,\u201d said Hubert Benitez, D.D.S., Ph.D., president of Saint Peter\u2019s University. \u201cHis success is a testament to what our students can achieve, and I am confident his message will inspire them to pursue their own bold ambitions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mir is the co-founder and chief commercial officer at Azend Pharma, a healthcare management service company dedicated to empowering independent pharmacies. AzendPharma helps streamline their operations, implement innovative solutions, and drive growth in a challenging market while improving healthcare delivery and outcomes. Mir brings extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, recognized for his strategic leadership and ability to drive commercial success.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before joining Azend Pharma, Mir oversaw various specialty pharmacy initiatives in the tri-state area, where he played a crucial role in expanding market presence and improving patient outcomes through innovative digital solutions and the use of pharmacy analytics. Earlier in his career, Mir held a successful tenure at Pfizer, where he managed key accounts and promoted major pharmaceutical brands in the New York market.
