McGreevey, executive director of the Jersey City Employment &#038; Training Program, kicked off the Guarini Institute\u2019s spring pizza &#038; politics speakers\u2019 series, in partnership with the Department of Criminal Justice, on February 4th.   With over seventy students and faculty in attendance, the former Governor highlighted his political career and how it helped him to find his second career focused on helping ex-offenders.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/huangshizhaopin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/blogs.dir\/122\/files\/2016\/02\/McGreevey-and-Crew-e1455199305626.jpg\" alt=\"McGreevey and Crew\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-490\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He highlighted his experience counseling women at the Hudson County Jail as part of his educational training which eventually launched his strong interest in helping ex-offenders at the Integrity House in Newark.  With these experiences in hand, the Governor oversees Martin\u2019s Place, a wrap-around reentry program in Jersey City, NJ, servicing a large number of returning ex-offenders each year.  He ended his talk by commending Jersey City\u2019s Mayor Steven Fulop and Governor Chris Christie\u2019s commitment to reducing recidivism and providing addiction and mental health services to inmates and ex-offenders.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor James E.
