The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020. The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, (CRRSAA) was passed on December 27, 2020. These laws established the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund and provide funding to institutions to provide emergency financial aid grants to students whose lives have been disrupted, many of whom are facing financial challenges and struggling to make ends meet. Saint Peter\u2019s University has received funding to help its students during this difficult time. These funds may be used by students to pay for expenses related to the cost of attending the University.<\/p>\n
