However, they are required to be pre-registered for the remaining coursework for degree completion in the Summer terms.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Exceptions to the credit requirement will be permitted for undergraduate students in the School of Education who need to complete student teaching in the Fall term (December) provided they have pre-registered for the remaining coursework. Non-education students that will complete their program requirements in the Fall are not eligible to participate in the 2026 ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Please note:<\/b> <span>Doctoral students are eligible to order regalia and participate in the Commencement Ceremony, if they have successfully completed their program requirements and defended their dissertation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>POLICIES ON ALCOHOL AND DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span>The Saint Peter\u2019s University security staff and personnel will be responsible for crowd control. Any student or guest exhibiting disruptive behavior will be asked to leave. In cases of egregious disruption, the student will be removed from the ceremony, and may face the withholding of her\/his diploma until a judicial hearing is conducted on campus. Guests exhibiting egregiously disruptive behavior will be subject to arrest and criminal prosecution.
