Bautista and Pandey at the Pi Mu Epsilon Conference

Riza Bautista ’25 and Aakash Pandey ’25 presented their research at the Pi Mu Epsilon Conference in Seattle in conjunction with the Joint Mathematics Meetings on January 10, 2025. Bautista’s poster, “A mathematical model of neuropeptide-elicited rhythmic oscillations” was mentored by her Capstone Advisor Nickolas Kintos, Ph.D., and Pandey’s poster “Study of Patterns within Number Bracelets” was mentored by his Honors Thesis Advisor Dawn Nelson, Ph.D. (Pi Mu Epsilon is the National Mathematics Honor Society.)
