Marilyn Cohen, Ph.D., director of women’s studies at Saint Peter’s University and author of “No Girls in the Clubhouse: The Exclusion of Women From Baseball,” wrote a letter to the editor on the article, which was published in The New York Times on June 15. Thirty-one people from the women’s studies program at Saint Peter’s, women and gender studies program at Montclair State University, FOCUS, Action 21, Women United in Action, Women Rising, Hudson County Rape Crisis, Bergen County YWCA Rape Crisis, N.J. Chapter of National Association of U.N. Women, N.J. Citizen Action and a NJCU feminist organization attended the program.
