This program is designed to support first-year TRIO SSS students by connecting them with trained upperclassmen mentors who offer guidance, encouragement, and insight as they navigate their college journey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Peer Mentors help new students overcome challenges, access campus resources, and reach academic and personal milestones. Through this supportive relationship, mentees build confidence and develop a stronger sense of community within TRIO and the university.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>At the same time, Peer Mentors benefit from valuable leadership experience, professional development, and opportunities to give back.
