Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Completed Graduate Application
Submit the official graduate application form through the Saint Peter’s University application portal.
Academic Background
A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree is required. A strong academic foundation in business, computer science, statistics, mathematics, applied sciences or a quantitative business discipline is recommended.
Transcripts
Submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
GPA Requirement
A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale is expected. Applicants should have a grade of B or higher in Calculus or a comparable quantitative course.
Letter of Recommendation
One professional or academic letter of recommendation is required, attesting to the applicant’s qualifications and readiness for doctoral study.
Personal Statement
A written statement (approx. 500 words) explaining your interest in the DBA program. The statement should demonstrate:
- Strong writing and reasoning abilities
- Professional goals aligned with the program
- Commitment to completing the degree
Resume
Include a current resume that outlines your academic background and professional work experience.
Interview
All applicants must complete an interview with the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs.
International Students
Applicants who earned degrees outside the United States must submit a transcript evalsuation from an approved agency.
English proficiency must be demonstrated through TOEFL or Duolingo scores if the primary language of instruction was not English.
The DBA is STEM-designated, making international students eligible for up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) upon graduation (subject to USCIS approval).

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Early submission is recommended for consideration of scholarships and research assistantships.
